Students:  There is funding available from a variety of sources for those of you interested in specializing in irrigation.  Below is a partial list of irrigation-related scholarships that have been published on the web.  Most of them are specific to a particular school, geographic area or district.  To search for more scholarship information, go to the School Directory on the www.iaef.org website and browse the schools you are interested in to find information on that school’s scholarship. You should also go to your state’s Irrigation Association, your local water purveyor, local landscape and nursery organization, and browse irrigation equipment manufacturers’ websites to see what may be available to you in the area of scholarships, internships and job opportunities and what qualifications you will need to meet.
